if you ring the store and tell them whats happened and that you dont live near and wont be in til wednesday,your better off ringing them so they know your coming there normally reluntant to pay out if its a couple of days after the purchase unless they know your coming.

finally found some of the roses for 1p. Well found a tray of them, i took 5, matched the barcode and they scanned through ok, then i tempted fate and went back there were 3 left so i took 2 and when i went through the checkout the cashier clocked the price straight away, and called for another girl (thinking manager or something) and said 'these are scanning at 1p!' so she asked me if they were off the shelf and i said yea, apparentley they didnt know, so she ran off to get the others off the shelf...... (there was only one:eek:) the cashier then carried on scanning and let me have the 2 i had (also had a bottle of coke zero too)....

moral of the story..... i was not satisfied with the 5 i had! i just had to get 2 more didnt i :doh:

lesson learned! its just to darn tempting!

also found the clearance products at superdrug! got 2 bags full.
apparently cashier said everyone was getting these and wasnt they fab!....:eek: how could i not have known bargains were right under my nose! lol

Just got in from GFS/Pub, will post more later about GFS but wanted to re post what a friend posted on FB whilst it was still fathers days I thought it was so lovely

Re the tree pic...I shall explain....Blue and MM offered to accompany me to my car...I used the bus at the NEC, but on seeing the queue for the return , they insisted it would be quicker to walk...I had no idea where my car was parked , except it was 'next to a tree' ....on our search for my car, I thought it was car park H, there is no car park H, but a witty car park man thought it amusing I had a car park ticket but no car....we detoured through most of the car parks until we saw some features that looked familiar too me, like trees....Blue and Mm insisted these were bushes and every car park is ringed by bushes,and I do agree all were bushes ......except 1,..... and that was def a tree and my car was parked beneath it., OK , so it did not help that my car is silver in colour and I had not tied something to it to make it stand out and there were a million other silver cars there....the journey to NEC by bus was 2 minutes, the walk from NEC to car park was about 20, plus more time searching for the tree.....but they should have listened to me and got the bus.....and wasn't it nice that MM texted to ensure I got home safely and then Blue rang to make sure I had.....obviously very concerned about my mental state.....but they made my day!!!!!!
