Good afternoon and Happyfathers day to all you Dad's.
Whole family went to the good food show today . We got there for 9am and looking back now Iam very glad we did get there so early (we had to get up at 6) so needed lots of coffee to wake up:coffee:. It was nice and quiet at the beginning which gave us a chance to havea proper look around. Got 2 boxes of Jordans yum. Tried an oyster, which nearly made me sick:rotfl: and got a few mocs for carte dor and Ryvita although the last ones were watiching them like hawkes lol. And then suddenly it got very busy lots of people with trolley, good idea in itself but not when they roll them over your feet and then turn around and give you dirty looks but all in all it was a great day out and we shall go to the winter one . There were also codes for reduced tickets for next time which are 25% off if you order you ticket by the 20.6.11 quote "EB12" or 20% off if you order you ticket by the 31.08.11 quote" EB12" at www.bbcgoodfoodshow.com .0 -

Hi everybody. I havent been on here for a while, things hectic here at home, but I managed to get to Tesco and Asda today but I didnt find any new items on offer. Colgate Total is now not on 2 for £2 in Asda thou, it is now full price. Dove beauty finish is still on bogof, so good if you can use 2 x £1 coupons.
Well done Judy2357 on your comp win, and in my neck of the woods aswell !!! lol lol
I havent been able to go through all the pages I have missed, infact, I cant remember when I was on here last, but well done to anybody who has won anything and thank you to anybody that has found coupons and competetions for us all to use.0 -
Now to the nitty gritty....I'm the first one back from the GFS and have to say the peeps on this forum are such lovely people....met Pink/Gill and a friend of theirs called Elaine first....so funny being called Bully out loud in public:D:D
Then I was greeted by somone asking me if I had any wet fish:D
It was the lovely Blue....and then along came MM.....all stars :T:T
All I can say it has been an absolute pleasure to meet up with you all and be in your company today....thank you. Thanks to Blue's bluff and bluster and sheer cheek she just walked me and my granddaughter into the Subscribers lounge, the bloke asking for passes did not dare question her....:D:D
There is a def lack of mocs but what were available were snaffled by the forum peeps with such deftness ...I was in awe:):)....and as for the 1 jar of pasta sauce and 1 teabag sample and 1 shortcake sample and the 1 pack of seeds....available to subscribers of the mag in the lounge ....well you can forget that....the staff in charge must have wondered why they were having to keep opening more stock to put out as it was disappearing into Gills and Blues bags so fast.....:rotfl::rotfl:Thanks for my 4 jars Blue and all the tea and seeds....:rotfl::rotfl: and my granddaughter says thankyou for the mag;););)Will say no more about that;);););)And thanks to Blue and MM for escorting me back to my car , so I would not have to carry all my stuff....and hubby is thrilled with all the Spam too Blue :T:T, can't wait to go barbel fishing with so much free bait...
I enjoyed watching Masterchef live and fell about when the bloke from the Plenty Ad came out, it was presented by Andy Peters ,John Terrode/Gregg Wallace, plus a rugby player and a previous Masterchef winner, it was very entertaining ....tasted lots of lovely cheeses and sausages and had some curry and ice cream to savour too...but the stuff on sale is very pricey, never thought I'd see the day I would pay £1.80 :eek:for a stick of liqourice and £4.90 for a roast beef sandwich:eek:....Gardeners World was good too, saw Monty Don in there...
All in all ,as Wallace and Gromit would say, it was a GRAND DAY OUT!!!:)0 -
