CW it was; I wish I'd got more, I chose the lemon tarts mostly. The sponge was so light...I still have 1 left. :D

PM no wonder you have been in so much pain with an abscess. Have you got pain relief now and anti-biotics?

I'm feeling better, thanks. Home again now for a few days which means I have my bed instead of my dd's sofa! Bliss. Try to play catch up with housework and so on whilst I'm here. She lives in her own place but is very vulnerable (she has autism). Over the last year she's had some awful experiences with men and some people befriended her in order to steal from her. Went to her place one day and found her sofa gone; they had taken it making out that she had sold it to them, plus some computer things. Anyway, I spend a lot of time with her so that she does not feel lonely or bored. One of the boyfriends's stole over a £1000 from her that she had saved. She wouldn't pursue it with the police, so my hands were tied...but I have been close to wringing a few necks...and had a lot of sleepless nights.

My tomato plants are coming along nicely; my first real attempt. I also have some runner beans and lettuce; have I said this before?! :o:rotfl:
