Completely off topic, somewhere on MSE about a week ago, someone posted about a Facebook page called "The Winners Circle" on which people post the winners of Facebook competitions.

My question is where do these competitions appear because I have done a few in the general competition thread and I see there are some in the regular daily thread but I think there must be more somewhere as many of the winners names seem familiar but I havent seen the comps. Would be grateful if someone could throw a light on this for me please.

this is the drivel thread, Judy, you can be as off topic as you like.

there are lots of competition forums out there, not just MSE and FB. I know some MSErs use FB and Loquax

Judy means she checks out the competition threads on mse, link here

but there are lots more comps out there.. not just mse. FB and Twitter are 2 mediums, and as I said the 2 comping magazines in my post, and I know there are more, can't remember the other one, I will have to do a search for it.

Toniq is a good person to ask what comps she enters, she can tell you if she subscribes to anything else other than loquax, mse, fb and twitter.

one thing to do is to sign up to lots of newsletters as they have comps too. I have done Greggs this morning and will do the woman and home.

I know a few of the ladies do the online magazine comps through fb too.

Hi Judy. Most of the comps I enter are ones I picked up from my Facebook newsfeed, which is full of compers, most of them from MSE. I don't get time to look at MSE comps, but have had a few wins appear on the Winners Circle page recently.

Thanks UM and everyone else who has replied to me. When you say newsfeed, do you mean your home page? Im pretty useless at F/b and even worse at Twitter.

I would rather keep to MSE for comps as I cant manage to fit another website in my life at the mo, and wouldnt want to duplicate my entries and disqualify myself. So, as far as anyone knows there isnt a list of Facebook comps on here other than the ones in the regular daily comps? TIA

Sometime last year a regular comp poster said they were gpoing to set up a Facebook comp site but it was by subscription so I didn't look into it any more, have you tried googling??

Thanks will have to investigate, in fact I think perhaps i will have to work backwards, find the winners and the take note of the comps that they have won and google or search to see where they are posted if you see what I mean.

I've tried looking for you, but getting nowhere sorry...why not ask on the comp thread, whoever it is doing them will prob answer you.
