Doc , it's so easy ...just follow the instructions...first down load the add-on that was posted on the thread by kisto...you use firefox, don't you? when you have done that when you want to enter a comp , click on the place that would normally take you to the comp...it might be the word ...ENTER...or CLICKY...or HERE....drag it to where you would normally type in a web address and then Firefox takes over and automatically takes you to the website that the comp is on......before you do any of this enter a comp and the when you have the site on the screen click on TOOLS at the top of the page then on PAGE INFO, there you will see it says redirected from moneysavingexpert.......after you have downloaded the add-on and done the 'click and drag' and you get the comp website up, click on TOOLS and then look at PAGE INFO and it will not say 'redirected from moneysaving expert'.....

oo my head is hurting! Does it mean that if it did say 'redirected from MSE' then you wouldn't be able to enter?!

Julie - any hints where you found the huggies honeypot?!? Edit - found one!

Got my tabasco bottle today plus 2 cheqes from velvet (£5 &£10) & another 2 letters telling me to sling my hook for entering too many times! Still, I am in profit and still have a few more promo packs to send off so might do that just to annoy them.

No it won't say you won't be able to enter , but it will know you entered via a competition site...ie..MSE as it it will give the info out ....if you click on TOOLS now at the top of this page...then click on PAGE INFO you will see it says

No need to click on the above link , it's just to show what it says...if you do you will see exactly where the link is from...hence if the comp peeps click on it , it will show the comp post and the answer that was given , so they will know you have just used a comp site.....don't get me wrong it might not be a bad thing but maybe some comp sites frown on it and if you can enter without them knowing, then why not....

In order to hide where you found the comp, so that comp sites think you have surfed the net and found them you can do the above...I'm PM'ing now with the Doc, so hopefully she will have done it soon....it does work and it is easy...if I can do it !!!!

You can enter the comps via the links posted , the jury is out as to whether or not this will go against you or not....I've tried not to use links in the past...I never use direct links for all the big money comps , just in case...but if I'm in a rush and want to do as many as possible in an hour then I have used the links and thanked the poster...but this add on works just as quickly...after entering, it's just 3 or 4 backspaces back to MSE comp thread ,a quick click on the 'THANKS' button and then a click and drag to enter another.........

    Hi guys

don't get much time to get on here these days. or anywhere on mse.

well done to all recent comp winners. Don't even have time for that any more!

anyway need some technical help, if anyone is technical enough to help!

we just got a V+ box, and with my old virgin media box, I could plug in my VCR to it, and whenever i switched it on, it would switch to the VCR and let us watch videos. I plugged my DVD player into the VCR and if I switched this on, we could watch dvds.

Now, the engineer has plugged the vcr back into the new V+ box, but whenever I switch the VCR or DVD on, neither come onto the screen. They are both working and running, but the screen does not come on.

    Can anyone assist me? Please?
