I just need a quick and unreasonable rant.

I know I was not lazy as a newbie. I was very naive, completely unaware and inexperienced with mocs and general money saving savvy activity. But I was not lazy! Why do the newbies just post and not even read the first page with all the answers? I get it if you cannot find something - it is a bit daunting. But grrrrrrrr, just sick of greedy, lazy people.

I have only ever found all the established peeps are so patient and so I feel that I shouldn't complain as I've only been around since May and I'm daring to be annoyed.

I'm sorry, I've been unwell and my chemo is on hold and I'm sick of everything really. newbies are just taking the brunt.

Sorry if I have offended, forgive me. Rant over.

Great rant Wendy...totally agree with you....

I know just what you mean, it can be annoying and it can be hard to be patient with newbies.

But we have to try and educate them or they will do silly things like multiple printing on coupons, when it only OK to do this with PDF's.

What annoys me most is the lack of manners, no thanks, even for the thread "boss".

I used to politely remind people to use their thanks button but I got a real moan off one newbie calling me a bully and this really, really, upset me :(:(:(:(:(and I left the thread for about 3 weeks and would not post.

Basically some of the newbies are lovely and kind people, and as in all walks of life, some are awful, ignorant and rude people. We have to take the rough with the smooth and hope the awful ones drift away and the nicer newbies stay and become part of the coupon community.

So, when you are giving advice again and again you have the right to get a bit annoyed, but don't let it get to you too much.

Remember all the nice peeps wish you well on your recovery and are glad you joined our little group of couponners.:):):):):):):):):)

    Take care

You were one of the first who I thought were especially patient with newbies - and that when I felt guilty. I remember the 'bully' thing - awful.
Everything you say is right and I do agree - I'm just not at my best. Thanks for best wishes :D
:TI've saved £518.70 with mocs and CS since 15 May (yes, I am keeping count!):T

rant away wendy, everyone needs one once in a while.
none of us here mind, if anything we'd agree with you.
it can be very frustrating when you can see some people just don't bother to read first pages.
i think by all means post questions/ask for info (i/many of us will always try to answer) but not before you've read first pages, same goes for posting coupon finds some just don't bother to check they are on first pages.
but what can you do, its and open thread.

now you've got me at the ranting, lol

sorry to here things not so good today

now you've got me at the ranting, . but what can you do, its and open thread.

If I were you MT, I can ignore them:D:D:D:D

Yes Wendy, rant away - this is drivel :rotfl::rotfl:post what you like :D.

Well MT - lets put it this way, I will not be surprise if you give up sooner than you thought, if they continue to be ignorant. What really make me mad is that its new thread so it won't be that difficult to look for answers from the 1st few pages instead of repeating over & over again.

    Good afternoon me drivel frens;).

Just pop over discount thread gonna say munchkinz is doing a brilliant job collating coupons into A4.

    Well said Wendy...:T
Many of oldies realised it when whole lot of DTDers joined couponing....lot were with good intention and few with not so good (like photocopying coupons etc...etc)

But oldies stopped convincing them only because someone would be offended. as same thing happened with CW, bully, Blue, MT1 to name a few.:o Very few take it in right sense.

We welcome everyone as long as they are nice, and that is the basic rule of MSE forum....;)

IS you want your job back....;) only joking

i can ignore well enough and i have fairly thick skin, so it would take alot to make me quit at the moment.
although the posts jumping about was getting frustrating but hopefully BT has sorted that now

i agree munchkinz link is great which is why i added to the first pages.
