Could someone tell if I have to ring them up first to activate the card please? I keep trying to register it online but it wont have it.

Yes you need to phone the number in the letter.

Make sure you input 8 digits for your date of birth

01/01/2011 instead of 01/01/11 (like I did lol) got told they didn't recognize it & had to enter everything again.

I did, but I frequently never put in my correct DOB & can't remember which one I used
