Got kitten on Thursday night.

She (we think she is a she) is lively, knows the litter tray is for a wee but i am concerned she hasn't pooped.

so have googled.. and it says to stimilate her bottom with a warm cloth, before i do this, is this correct, i can understand the concept of it being like mum doing this..

I don't want to harm my little girl.

Edit to add that she loves her wet and dry food, but refused kitten milk.

You really need to take your kitten to the vet. Google is not a good enough substitute.

It's only been 2 days so give her time, I bet she has gone by the end of today and if not by Monday then the best and only advice is the Vets. Do not go for any medical advice given on the Internet.

I know google isnt a substitute full stop, but just wanted to see if there was something i could do for her now, don't really want her pumped full of drugs.

i'm used to puppies and pooing all the time when young.
But not had a kitten before, i thought they would be pooping all the time too.

will see if i can get some vet advice over the phone

Can't offer any advice, but didn't want to read and run and it's good to hear she has now pooped!

When things aren't funtioning as normal, it's always a worry. With cats pooping (or not as the case may be), it may even become dangerous as they are not flushing the toxins out of the body. But it's possible she may have been stressed by the move to a new home, which could cause constipation.

Keep an eye on her over the next few days to make sure she peeing and pooping regularly. I'm sure you are making her feel loved and settled in her new home, so there shouldn't be any problems!

apparently this is all normal, she was still relying on mum to help her with the poop thing...

    Gave her loads of praise..

and really relieved she did it
