    Yawn.

Just done a search, hasn't all this been done to death here?

You will note I have not posted in that thread, and I have never seen it before today, and I have only just read the OP. Not sure what your point is?

It is original to me and many others who have not seen these clips. Again what's your point?

Maybe I'm missing something, but the driver in the youtube videos (stider) doesn't seem very good at reading the road?

I don't know why people do this, it's this arrogant "I know everything" followed by "oh I don't remember" when proven wrong with black and white, hard cold facts.... But even then you'll argue against the highway code.

It's this arrogance (and ignorance) which causes half the problems on our roads. You ARE NOT the Police, you DO NOT know better! But then I guess the Police are wrong too, because they just young whipper-snappers who haven't been around long enough to know your version of the law.

I think we should have to do a comprehensive theory test every 5 years, this might hopefully force people to read the highway code and to stop going vigilante to enforce laws that don't even exist!!

They are open cheverons you can enter if it is necessary, I have not yet found a definiton of "necessary" in relation to this law.

It could be argued with an agressive driver behind he wanted to get out of the way ASAP although with the video evidence this could be drawn into question as he did force a braking maneuvre moments earlier.

i was told that when the line goes across as it does at my arrow then they are closed chevrons and to be treat as an invisible barrier you do not cross
willing to be confirmed ive been told porkies though by the boys in blue

You can say that of all Youtube transport video's, the restricted and distorted view from the camera makes it impossible to get a feel for what the driver/cyclist/biker is doing or thinking at any given moment.
