rbulph - I think to take the car, it sounds like you need to spend the extra on insurance. However, this is still a good deal if you don't take the car. I plan on just using this deal for the flights, then not even picking up the car (I'm going to try to see if Dollar will let me rent the car for minimal fees, but if not I'll just rent it from somewhere else cheaper).

Think of this as just flights, not a fly/drive, and it's still a great offer.

you can also get 3% back via Quidco!!! (i didn't realize this until after I booked though )

You can get car hire inc all the taxes thru uscarhire from £104 per week. You can take your pick from Dollar or Alamo.

my travel have same price £79 plus tax 13 or 14 nts look under last minute, they have been on offer for about 6 weeks now, I was waiting for them to drop a bit more in may this year they dropped to £49

That's the same deal as what's posted, after tax it comes to the same price. One good thing on your post though was that it said it is a THOMSONFLY flight, so at least we know what carrier we're getting.

Departing the week before with Thomsons works out at just £178, less than the Airtours price for that week.

Jan 13 is £348 for 2 people without meals fly/drive. However, from what I've read, you should skip the drive part as they overcharge you on insurance, so just don't pick up the car.

I think people are forgetting about TAX. After tax TCD is much higher than this special on the dates.

TCD may have their own specials as well sometimes, but currently I don't see anything that beats this one.

If anyone got this deal in January, PM me maybe we can meet up/carpool/etc.
