Aah, the username was a clue then? :rotfl:
Not a part of the world I can help you with, I'm afraid, hopefully someone else'll be along to help.
All the best0 -
As Italy is in the EU I guess there shouldnt be any restriction on the money you can take back as clearly this would interfere with the EU tenet freedom to reside and move within member states. If you are an EU citizen, you can move freely and work anywhere within the EU etc, I really cant foresee any problems in you moving home?
the problem you MAY have would be in changing the currency - but I dont know about that really, I'll leave that to someone else to help
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
The best way to get a large amount of money over is to use a money brokers like https://www.currenciesdirect.com - you will get a better exchange rate. They do charge but it is only about £15. It can go straight into your Italian bank account.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
