Limestone Drive

After more than 20 years, the time has come for maintenance on my limestone drive. The slabs are irregular and between 1 and 2 inches thick. It's been cleaned but needs re-pointing. Some of the gaps between the slabs are the size of your fist and others are hairline cracks.
What do I use for re-pointing?
One or two of the bigger slabs move very slightly when the edges are walked on, (give slightly). Is it good enough to try and force a little extra sand around these edges or do they need to be lifted and rebedded?
While researching the above on this website, I noted that sealant treatment is mentioned for 'Indian' limestone. I've no idea whether my limestone is 'Indian' or not, but is it a good idea?

If some of the gaps are fist sized and you are planning on repointing that then anything other than building sand, cement and plasticiser could cost a fortune.
Better if the slabs are lifted but forcing some sand in and repointing will stop any movement.0 -
the bad ones really need to be lifted and some sharp sand added first.
if there are some fist sized holes i would swap some slabs around so to put the bad edges at the far side or end.
for pointing, some sand/cement mortar will be ok. say a 4-1 mix. for strength.Get some gorm.0
