New Desktop base unit needed

Need advice on where to buy a new computer, base unit only as we have monitor & keyboard.

Want it to do some video editting. Will be storing/transferring data via an external hard drive.

A firewire slot would be useful.

Under £400 too

Do I need a dedicated graphics card or not?

Also want to be able to connect wirelessly to my router to surf the net a bit.

It's more expensive than your budget but seems to tick most of the rest of the boxes.

Depending on the type of video editing you are considering the iMovie application might do the job.

I've an older Mac and I was quite impressed with the soundtrack manipulation capabilities of iMovie (the most difficult bit of video editing in my view is the sound).
