Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I have a Lloyds TSB current account which is dormant and has had a balance of £0.11p for the past 6 months.
However the account has stopped reporting payment history to experian if I transfered for say example a £1.00 into the account would that make it start updating with experian again?
Many thanks

By dormant do you mean the account is blocked>?
Or have you not used it say for 6 months or more.
If the account is blocked due to dormancy you will have to re establish your id and address before you can use the account again.
I don't know if this will get the account reported to Experian.0 -

Its just the account just has not been used for 6 months or more.
My last transaction on the account was the end of December 2010 and my experian report was last updated in January 2011. Which makes me think thats the reason why its stopped reporting.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
In that case the account is not dormant - just unused!
I suppose there is nothing to report is there - just like they won't send a statement out unless there have been transactions on the account.0
