Gas Oven Left On!

Could really do with some help on trying to work out how much damage i'll have caused to our Gas Bill this month!

I accidentally left our gas oven on for approximately 11 hours on gas mark 2 + 1/2.

I'm completely baffled at trying to calculate even a ROUGH cost for this.

Any help would be much appreciated for this forgetful simpleton :D

I wouldnt worry about it, take a look at the attached link, going by the table at gas mark 2 you have only gotten through about 4p worth of gas.

Very difficult to work out the actual amount of gas used in doing what you have done. It depends on many things, including things as diverse as whether your lights were on or off, what time of the day/night and which side of your house your cooker is on :D

You would probably need a degree in thermodynamics as well!

However, I would say less than 50p.

Thanks so much for all your replies :p I was honestly worried that I'd be basically burning cash. Exact figures aren't needed, so the rough figures are more than fine.

Just glad to know that I haven't sent us to the poor house ;)
