National Grid Metering Exchange Programme?
I've had a letter from National Grid Metering advising me that my gas meter needs changing to an updated one, which is a free of charge service.
This is their website
http://www.nationalgrid.com/uk/metering/PME/faq.htm
Has anyone come accross them before? Are they genuine? Should I accept a new meter?
My concerns are the letter came to my address, but did not have my name on it. Plus I find it strange the letter came from them, and not from British Gas.
Thanks.

I have just had notification of an electric meter change. It isn't by my supplier but Scottish Power who must have infrastructure responsibility in the NW."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
