Hi all, I purchased from Amazon 2 anti dog bark collar kits priced at 3.75 plus postage each. I carefully read the description and i definatly ordered the kits including collar, antibark unit, battery, spray and instructions. what i got was 2 batteries. I have emailed them saying i would like the items i ordered. As an after thought i have re checked my order and followed the link to the sale page. They have now adjusted the item price to 60.00 odd pound. Looks like they have miss priced the item on line i have brought them after they realised i assume they have sent the batteries hoping i will not realise and upped the corrected the price where do i stand. Am i entitled to request the item i paid for at the price i paid it???

Highly unlikely - they would have emailed you giving you the option to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the order.Am i entitled to request the item i paid for at the price i paid it???
That really depends on the order acknowledgement email (NB: YOU DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT AT THIS POINT) and the despatch email/delivery note (Where the contract is formed)“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
What does an 'anti bark unit' do exactly?
I think it's a device that fits to the collar and sends a light spray of water/unpleasant substance everytime the dog barks to try to discourage it from barking.“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -

I hope it isn't something that gives the dog an electric shock. That sounds barbaric.

The electric shock ones used to be available but have now been banned (so I am led to believe)
I have a friend who owns a dog that is deaf and she tried to order an electric collar so that she could control him better and get his attention when she is out and about (think it worked with a key-fob sort of idea). But she got told that they were no longer available.“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
No electric shock collar required with my dog; he sat on an electric fence to do his business, and never made that mistake again!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Noise devices don't work.
I bought a unit that makes a high pitched noise and put it next to the front window as I was sick of my dogs barking every time somebody walked down out street.
It worked for about two days, then they got used to it and just barked over the noise
Here I go again on my own....0 -
