Changing supplier when in credit?

Hi,

Sorry I couldn't find an answer to this on the Scottish Power site. Can anyone tell me what happens if you change supplier when in credit? Will the amount be refunded to you on the final bill, or would it be better to request it before changing?

It's credited against your final bill, you will receive any balance owing by cheque (though SP have a habit of 'forgetting' to refund the credit).

Hi Matt123,

Normally we will hold your acredit until your account is finalised and then refund any remaining credit after sending your final bill. This does normally happen automaticlaly however if it does not just contact us and we can arrange it for you.
