Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldnt she (exfriend) also been asked to provide a drivers licence at some point? to the police or courts?- What was the offence? If caught on a speed cam then maybe not I'm not sure...
I would also follow others advice & get a credit check -Martin has info in how to get these free (link please someone?)
If she has V5 in your name, possibly a drivers licence; then what else .....
Definately get legal advice quick!

There are too many unanswered questions to this post. If the fines relate to parking ofences in a private car parking area and a private firm has gone through the civil courts to recover monies then there will be no criminal conviction.
I cannot understand how she would be found guilty of an offence without being brought before the court or given to opportunity to answer to the offence, in a criminal court.
