Claiming Tax Back on Savings

Hi,

I claimed some tax back on my savings, got it paid into by bank account, via a cheque, the HMRC paid it direct etc.

Usually i receieve a statement by post a couple of weeks later, this year recieved nothing at all, anyone else in a similar situation?

Just wondering is it a new policy, no paper mail?

Are you talking out an R40 form?
I have HMRC send me a cheque, it came a couple of weeks ago with the normal explanation of the calculations they made.

Same here. Very efficient. Paid in 13 days including weekends and bank holidays.

They do normally send details but sometimes it arrives a few weeks later than the payment, there is of course the possibility that it may have been lost in the post, why not give them a call to check.

Only time they don't seem to send paperwork is when you do your tax return online, but this is different to your situation.
