hi, i am still trying to work out the answer to this:
can you claim back the interest you get charged for going over your overdraft limit? i think not but am just trying to find out before i start sending off my claim letters. don't want to look like a dunce!

I believe that you can claim back interest that was added as a result of their unlawful charges, but not on a general overdraft. i.e. if your account had a positive balance, then they added a charge which made you overdrawn, which they then charged interest at the unauthorised overdraft rate........you were only overdrawn because of their charge........ not because of your own mis-management.
