There's no tweet in my peep

My twitter feed (using Peep) on my HTC Legend stopped working on Wednesday afternoon. No updates came through.
I signed out, and back in - nothing.
Deleted the Peep cache and data, signed out and back in - again, nothing.
For some reason seesmic wont install on my phone (says there is insufficient space, even though I have about 15 meg left and the install is only 2).
Anyone have any tips of how to fix this? I've found lots of google hits of people who have problems, but nothing much in the way of fixes. Don't really want to do a full reset if I can avoid it.

It's working again now. I did remove some apps from my phone, so it could have been a space issue.
Installed seesmic too, but it can't be installed on the SD card so all the space I freed has gone again.0
