I think my average daily useage is high .. does anyone agree?

That DOES sound quite high for the electric!

Perhaps it is something to do with using expensive day units, or the immersion water heater.

I have had my bill this morning - my last bill was 3/12/10, so basically 6 months (winter period)

Since then I have used:

2,081 kWh of electric

5,439 kWh of gas


3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen diner, extension room + bathroom
Loft insulation but no cavity wall insulation

GCH and water

Gas hob / elec oven / dishwasher /washing machine / pond pump 24/7 under counter freezer / lge chest freezer

Dehumidifier on for 2 hrs every day in winter/spring (after son's 25 minute showers :mad: - and YES, we DO have a daily 'discussion' about that! )

Tv in living room /my lappy
Son on computer / TV / xbox - lots!
