Help with Advanced Passenger Information

Am hoping that someone can help with this,as over 18 years since I have been on a package holiday!
I have booked to go to Corfu with Direct Holidays. On the invoice it says that I need to give information on the Thomas Cook website 28 days before travelling, about passports etc. When I have gone on to the website, it says that this is only required if you are travelling to certain specified airpotrts, and Corfu is not one of them. Is the statement on the invoice just a pro forma and I don't need to worry that I've missed out some vital step?

If its a Thomas cook plane you are flying on then if you haven't done the API they will do it at the airport so don't worry, or you could load it anyway whether its needed or not if it gives you peace of mind. If its not thomas cook airlines then it needs loading with the airline that your flying with which is a little more complicated.0
