Conditional Formating in EXCEL

Guys I need some help, I need to use conditional formatting on certain cells in Excel and im somewhat stuck though. I can use the Conditional Formating to shade out 1 cell by itself when a certain option is selected from a dropdown list in another cell that’s not a problem, the issue is that I want to grey out other cells as well at the same time but I don’t know how to include them include them in the Conditional Formatting. Any help would be great as I need this for work
The current formula im using for the conditional formating is =IF(AND ( $B$36= " Insert Address " ) ,TRUE )
(Please ignore the spacing in the formula as the computer at work seems to be putting in smilies and quotes and not displaying it properly doh!) Thanks James

You should be able to use the format painter to copy the conditional formatting to the other cells you need.
What version of Excel are you using?:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
You'd want the same conditional formatting formula in the other cells (unless I'm missing something)0

Just one observation, why are you using that formula when the following does just the same thing (you dont actually need the brackets:
=( $B$36= " Insert Address" )
And, as _Andy_ says, you just want to use the same formula with different formating for the other cellsNever let it get you down... unless it really is as bad as it seems.0 -
