Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but have you asked her?

i have asked her and she just says 'I dunno know' and sticks her head back in her laptop, which I am not happy about her being on that all the time.

I'm not one for dragging my kids out doing something they don't want to do and walking behind me with faces like a wet weekend, of course there are times when they have to go.

My question wasn't meant as a criticism, so sorry of it came across that way.

I just thought she may have some ideas, but she seems happy doing her own thing, so asking isn't going to help.

I wouldn't worry too much - she is probably happy to chill out after a week at school.

we go swimming and to the park together (my DD is 10). She also does dance (ballet, tap, modern and theatrecraft). My niece is 11 and does gymnastics, guides, bowling, and street dance. Niece has also in the last couple of years dabbled in swimming club, and may be giving up bowling shortly to try badminton club.
