Halifax Home Plan – move it?

I have Halifax Home Plan (Halifax Growth
investment for the last 5 years and I am not happy with it.
Can I move it and what are benefits?….
I think the fund has performed badly over the last 5 years but won’t I have bought units at lower price and therefore might be better to stay with them and then transfer to a different company?
I have critical illness cover on it, any ideas what affect will this have if I move?
