Problems with mcaffee and mozilla firefox

Whilst I was out, my husband loaded up mcaffee virus blocker onto our computer and now I've lost my tab with automatic form filling. I've tried re-loading it using add-on but it downloads it but the tab doesn't appear on the tabs line. I've also lost the F5 button facility where it reloads a page with all my form already filled in. What's happened and how can I fix it?
