Used ski clothing for charity

At the place I work, we are replacing our large stock of ski jackets and salopets (ski trousers). The clothing has been used as rental stock to members of the public. It has been periodically washed within it's lifetime, but will require washing before any future use, but is mostly in fine (if slightly worn) condition.

I have just recently found out that all of the stock that is being replaced is going to simply be disposed off into a skip. I feel this is an absolute waste, and I am trying to identify a charity that could use the clothing.

Does anyone know of any charity that could make use of second-hand ski clothing? The stock is being repalced very soon (within the week), and is in the Milton Keynes area.

Thanks

SS

I'm sure that any charity shop in the area would love the stuff! But since I could be wrong, why not check? Give them a call?

yes, I realise I may appear cold and heartless a lot of the time.
  • You could ask the Ski Club of Great Britain if they know of a specific charity.

Is there a market though? Have you seen how little you can pay at TK Max for previous seasons ski clothing. (~£20-40 for trousers)
