E-mail for Direct Line

Hi
Recieved a renewal notice from Direct Line recently, advising me that I don~t need to do anything, they can renew my car insurance automatically. Fine, except I want to cancel, but no matter how many times I try to ring them no one seems to pick up...exceptionally high call volumes, yada yada...
Was wondering if anyone had any e-mail contact therefore for DL, since I cannot find any info on their site.
If push comes to shove, is it OK to just cancel the Direct Debit through the bank...
Should also point out that I am currently on holiday abroad, so I REALLY do not want to be hanging on the phone waiting for someone to respond.

Do not cancel the direct debit without contacting them, they will renew the policy then chase you for the money when they find they cannot take the payment from your account.0
