crdit card charges

Hi i have been paying off my credit card and it has now been taken over by opus. i have been paying at a reduced amount with no interest charged.
unfortunatly i got behind in my payments, i brought them up to date but opus have said that as i didnt pay on time they are now going to charge me interest on the amount which now means the interest is higher than the set amount i am paying them.
anyone know what (if anythhing) i can do ?

cheers

Dave

Write to them and ask them to reconsider their decision. Possibly include a statement of affairs to show that the amount you are paying a month is all you can afford.
