Our application to the FF probably took around 3-4 months, because a local officer had to visit us at our house to discuss our finances and assess our needs; they then reported back to the FF who advised us of the final decision.
We didn't try for holiday vouchers; instead, they funded Marley's driving lessons & test, greatly easing journeys to take Andrew for his numerous hospital appointments and to specialist toddler groups.

You complete a financial statement as part of the application, so they probably take into consideration both the level of income and the level of expenditure. I don't think they actually publish what the limits are, so that every application is considered on individual merits.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
