Does anyone know if Santander and MBNA are part of the same group.Someone has asked me as he has made a claim on his santander account and had to sign a form to say he would not make any further claims. He wants to make a claim on his mbna account and is unsure if he can if they are part of the same group.
Thank you for reading.

Did MBNA not issue abbey credit cards until santander take over ? (bit OT but might be useful)I have a deep burning indifference0

The confusion may be arising because MBNA used to run Abbey credit cards and, I believe, Alliance and Leicester credit cards.
This is no longer the case, the ones run by MBNA for Abbey are now fully MBNA.Santander - usted puede silbar para su dinero0
