    Sunday - chili con carne (with Lidls mince on offer) and rice

    Monday - Yesterday's chili con carne heated up and some red pepper added, rice fresh cooked

    Tuesday - still on the chili con carne with pepper and toms added, either rice or a hot roll

    Wednesday - pasta and bolognese sauce - yes, the mince makes a comeback!

    Thursday - pasta and tomato sauce, or maybe macaroni cheese.

    Friday - curried mince with potatoes (mince, baked beans, onion, garlic and curry paste

    Breakfast every day is porridge.
    Lunch every day is fresh fruit salad.

    Evening all

    Haven't posted before but have been reading, so here's my menu plan -

    Mon - fish, chips/jacket pot, beans/veg

    Tues - "quickie" tea - generally something on toast or LO from roast

    Wed - Tagliatelle with gammon, mushrooms in a creme fraiche sauce, HM garlic bread

    Thurs - Beef casserole, new pots, veg

    Fri - Chicken Kievs, chips, beans/veg

    Sat - away - so likely to be chicken/pork, (cooked on bbq) new pots, salad

    Sun - not sure what time we'll get back

    Breakfasts - cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt

    Lunch - sandwiches, crackers & cheese, salad

    Snacks - fruit, yoghurt, HM cake, biscuits etc (if I've had time to make them!)

    My first meal planner and I feel chuffed I have done it after going through freezer and cupboard.

    Mon - spag bol in SC (mince from freezer)
    Tues - minty lamb chops / chinese pork belly (from freezer as we didnt BBQ) fancy rice n veg
    Wed - roast chicken, orange carrots, peas, hasselback potatoes - just need to buy chicken
    Thurs - salmon (freezer) new pots and veg
    Fri - chilli con carne (mince from freezer)
    Sat - Burgers (freezer from non BBQ)
    Sun - Rib of Beef, yorkshires, roast pots, roasted veg - need to buy Beef from butchers but it does the 5 of us and then cold for days for lunch (I like it pink), so I think it's good value at £20.

    kids back at school so didnt need to plan lunch

    I've been on a mission since January to clear out freezer and stop spending with a miinimum of success so heres meal plan and shopping for next week - covers me and two teenage girls (15 and 18)

    Mon - Pork Chops, New pots and peas
    Tues - pork and leek sausage, mash pots and onion gravy (will chuck in SC and have one portion to freeze) - just me girls out
    Wed - Pasta bake and salad
    Thurs Gammon and HM Oven chips with sweetcorn
    Fri - Fish and HM Oven chips
    Sat - Steak and jacket pots, mushrooms and salad
    Sun - Toad in hole, roats pots and veg

    Breakfast - cereal for girls, eggs and toast for me (maybe little one will stretch to an egg if she has the energy)
    Lunch - Sandwiches, Thurs pasta bake and have some HM pasties and quiche in freezer
    Snacks - cake and biscuits, baby bel cheese

    Need to buy, new pots, pots for mashing and jackets, bread, salad, milk, eggs,
    So should manage on less than a tenner this week - hoping to get to end of month on less than £50.
    Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.

    T - Garlic and chilli chicken with hm wedges
    F - Not sure!

    S - Roast chicken

    Hi all

    This week we are having / had:

    *Thurs: Salt & Pepper Squid; Sea Bass, Rice & Veggies
    *Fri: Was going to cook, then DH didn't get home till 11pm!!! But he turned up with a takeaway!
    *Sat: BBQ round friends house - only bought burgers and garlic bread as our contribution.
    *Sun: Eat at DHs parents
    *Mon: Seafood Paella
    *Tues: Goulash in a dash
    *Wed: Morrocan lamb stew with cous cous

    Breakfasts will be cereal
    Lunches will be sandwiches or HM Soup
    Snacks will be HM muffins or seeded toast
