Not posted in one of these for ages! Hope everyone has a good week. Here's me:

Saturday - L: soup. Have to pootle up the high street to get a few things, so might get a pasty or something while I'm there as well, quite fancy one. D: Making BF cook me fajitas, since it's only chicken breast and peppers in a jar of sauce and bought tortillas, he can cope fine with that.

Sunday - L: eggs in some form and toast. D: tuna salad.

Monday - L: tuna sandwich. D: breaded fish, mash and sweetcorn.

Tuesday - L: sandwich. D: bacon and tomato pasta.

Wednesday - L: LO pasta. D: fish pie and sweetcorn.

Thursday - L: sandwich. D: aubergine & chickpea curry with rice.

Friday - L: LO curry and rice. D: pie, mash and beans.

Saturday I also plan to bake some choc chip cookies, using the scary gas oven in this house which I distrust not to ruin my baking. Hence the trial with biscuits, so I can open the door to check. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the new thread PP.

Week 2 of meal planning for me. I'm so impressed how it's cut down my food shopping. Only thing is I need a new hobby....:rotfl:

I'm fed up with a full storecupboard but only because it's full of rubbish packets and I want it full with proper ingredients, so I'm on a mission to start to use those up this week.

Sunday: Minty Lamb with warm vegetable salad
Monday: Left over Sun-dried Tomato Pork Bolognese (made this last week and it was yummy)
    Tuesday: Vegetable Bake with Tuna
Wednesday: Paprika and Pepper Sausage bake with rice
    Thursday: Beef Tacos
Friday: Mediterranean Chicken with roasted new potatoes
Saturday: Sausage and Baked Bean plait with chips (Freezer meal)

    Hi everyone,

Haven't been on the forums for a while, but back with a vengeance!! Don't think I ever posted on this thread before, but it's one I always follow (for inspiration!). Our week looks like this:

Today - 'Norton' Quorn burger & chips (this is based on a very much loved pub meal - basically 2 Quorn burgers in a bun, with cheese slices, onion rings & BBQ sauce, accompanied by chips & salad.)

Sunday - (Breakfast - fried egg bap) at my parents for Sunday roast.

Monday - Cheese & potato shortcrust pie (pastry from frozen) with new pots & salad

Tuesday - GOING TO SEE TAKE THAT!! WOOOO!!!!! So will use our Tesco vouchers to eat out at either Pizza Express or Strada.

Wednesday - Quick Chicken Curry with (from frozen) samosas & bhajis. (Chicken is the cook from frozen bag from F@rm F0ods. I'll pad it out with some canned chickpeas & frozen veg. Sauce is made from cheapo Madras paste. Very quick. Quicker than waiting for a takeaway to be delivered anyway!!)

Thursday - Quorn Spag Bol with (from frozen) meatballs. Bit of a contradiction I know, but I won't eat the meatballs, and OH prefers Quorn mince!

Friday - Spicy Spanish Sausage Stew chucked in the SC before work. I hate cooking on a Friday.

Saturday - Fish pie with new potatoes & peas.

Have a lovely week everyone x

Monday - [STRIKE]sausages with cous cous fritters and roasted vegetables[/STRIKE] the roasted veg turned out to be sausage and cannellini bean casserole so I had that with cous cous. I must label things in the freezer which look similar :p

Tuesday - mexican bean burger in a wrap with salad (maybe with wedges)

Wednesday - chicken and courgette risotto

Thursday - homemade cheeseburger with potato wedges and salad

    Friday - macaroni cheese

Saturday - paprika pork with rice

    Sunday - honey-mustard chicken pasta

I might swap some days around depending what I fancy.
    Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100
