How to find out if a company is in administration?

seems strange they have no record of these business names as they state "The register contains details of bankruptcies that are current or have ended in the last three months; current and individual voluntary arrangements and current bankruptcy restrictions orders and undertakings." so if they went down on as they state it would be on the insolvency register

Yup I just saw that note has been added to the website, that definitely wasn't there earlier today.
I was already speaking to a receiving company today that I was given the number of, don't know if it's the same one mentioned on the admin notice but suspect it probably is, will ring them tomorrow as originally planned.
Anyway, that notice on the website is the one my bank had wanted me to get a copy of in the first place to submit with my application so hopefully I should be able to get my money back either through the bank or through the receiving company.
Thanks everyone!0
