This is a copy of an email I sent ot PRIMUS today."This pararagraph "It's possible to get Primus Home Saver line rental including evening and weekend calls for just £7.99/month if you sign up for a year via comparison site Homephone Choices*." is exactly what your advert says on the Martin Lewis website. And so I signed up trough Homephone Choices*, so that I could receive my phone line rental for £7.99 a month. But as of yet I have not seen any charges of £7.99 a month line rental. They have been a total of £10.81 for charegs, credits and adjustments oh and VAT, first month, £11.07 2nd month and finally 3rd month £12.07. Could you please tell me why this is and if I am ever going to receive my phone line rental at £7.99 a month (as quoted in advert)and if not why not. Because sureley there is something wrong with that advert or somewhere I feel I may have been mislead, yours Sincerely Carl." can anybody suggest why this is? how I can resolve the matter? and how I can let MSE's website know that surely this advert is misleading.

Caller Display charge?
(Primus carry over any/all calling features you had with your previous provider)Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
My first bill from Primus was £16 including £4 worth of calls, what it is you are paying line rental for the month when the contract started & the next months line rental in advance.
Since then my bill averages about £10 a month which includes £6.99 line rental, tax & some calls.0
