how do you cook in specs?

I've been using specs for reading for the last couple of years and now I find that I'm wearing them more and more including in the kitchen. How on earth do you cook wearing them? - you open the oven door and they steam up, you take a lid of a pan for a peek and they steam up, you run the water to fill the basin and they steam up.....is there a technique to stop them fogging up?

You can get cleaning cloths that are supposed to stop fogging up. I can't be bothered - it clears quite quickly.

Look away or stand back, and just think if something spits you've got a pair of protective goggles on ;)
