What are we paying £12.95 for?

And is it possible to get a person on the phone to get it changed

Best thing I ever did was to do option 1 and follow up with Primus and 1899 etc. So far I am not looking back. Thats the best BT have done for me. They keep sending free calls etc but its short lived, when will they get it?
Currently 4 me its Rogers Contract cell phone, REBTEL.COM is the best mobile making and receiving calls to/from UK and Canada:beer:

£12.95 - what Option are you on?

    BTTO1 is £11.00/month
    BTTO2 is £14.95/month
    BTTO3 is £20.95/month

    I can't see one which is £12.95/month.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

We don't pay for caller ID, I cannot see what this extra is for. Is there any way to get a person on the phone to ask?

    0800 800 150 is always a good starting point with BT but, as it's a billing enquiry, I'd suggest Mon-Frid 9am to 5pm.

Have you checked out your bill online on BT.com? It will give you a breakdown of charges.

Friends and family are all on 1899 / 18185 and Primus, all are happy and not looked back. I use VoIP and have no landline, used my easyMobile free credit to top-up my VoIP account, so I'm happy, was happy too at having over 15 months free calls on VoIP all for €6 previously.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

Looking at me latest bills through Primus and 1899/18185 and BT line rental total comes to £14.93. There are calls to 0845/0870 and mobile included.
