Well done for getting started. Nothing other than the lotto is really jumping out at me, but if you shop around and make sure your utilities are all at the cheapest they can be you could make a tidy saving.

Welcome

Have you heard of cashback sites? https://www.quido.co.uk is the best one I've used. You get money back from shops you use online. Or some good deals if you switch any insurances as long as you click through from Quidco. https://www.pisgback.co.uk is a site that will give you points for clicking on links or also for shopping through various sites. Each point is worth a penny and you can then exchange it for vouchers. I've made nearly £15 just by clicking and siging up to things (be sure to set up a hotmail account just for this reason, don't want your inbox getting full of rubbish!).
Good luck in getting debt free

hi thanks...unfortunatley as i am childrens trained it is impossible to get any overtime through agencies as all wards use their own staff..i work in a hospice and have let my boss know i am up for any overtime although this would not be paid until the month after...on the positive side i have got an extra £24 from lotto!!!next £1000 egg £2850 [STRIKE]nationwide £115 od[/STRIKE]

ooh thankyou hadnt thought of that!!! cheers:beer:Tustastic wrote:Well done mm for being £24 up on the lotto. Shame about the agency and bank shifts. Even if you are kids-trained, surely you could be taken onto the books of any agency that provides home carers? The unqualified carers who helped look after my elderly mother were completely fab and professional even though they had hardly any training. Worth looking into this, no? Also, perhaps you could ask for some advice on the Benefits, tax credits and jobseeking boards - if there is any kind of handout you and yours could possibly be entitled to, someone on there will be able to point you in the right direction.:)next £1000 egg £2850 [STRIKE]nationwide £115 od[/STRIKE]
