When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D

Hello there

Hope everyone is in good spirits today. 'Tis Thursday already! :D And the weather here is looking a bit sunnier. Oooh.

I'm up to:
  • Walking
  • Eating what we've got at home
  • Taking lunch and snacks to work - no vending machine pour moi!
  • Free yoga at home - class isn't on tonight
  • Buying cotton pads only - don't need anything else!!
  • WM on cold wash - temp guage is knackered (boils everything!!!) but I've found cold is fine mostly then I can boil sheets and towels when it doesn't really matter.
  • Get nervous about the job OH went for - might it be today he hears???!:(:(
Catch up later everyone

Morning all, and thanks to La E for starting us off today.

It's been busy, busy, busy in the life of the witch this week so today's the first time I've had chance to post.

Yesterday I delivered my first proper order to a delighted customer. She posted a link on her website and within hours I had four more enquiries!! :j

    Anyway, today's list so far:
    • had porridge with allotment strawberries for breakfast
    • checked banking
    • checked surveys
    • fed and watered the chickens
    • boxed 2x half dozen eggs
    I will also:
    • get lift to work
    • get paid for eggs
    • take lunch and snacks to work
    • have tooth out this afternoon (paid last week) - could look on the bright side - will use less toothpaste maybe??
I think that will be enough for today, especially the dentist :eek:
