The charity gets the same amount of money either way, so I am not sure what the fact that it is for charity has to do with it?0 -

Unfortunately it's all down to supply and demand, this always happens and will continue to do so.
Take the FA Cup final, each club gets approx. 20% of ticket capacity, therefore clubs in total lose out to around 60% of tickets going to sponsors, corporates, freebies, etc.
The World Cup, England Fans got just 8%, therefore two clubs involved only got 16%.
Concerts are no different, I've used touts before to go to Oasis as they always sell out.
Only way to stop touting (apart from law or tougher policing) is to not buy from them....but if you don't someone else willFinancial Aims for 2012:

This has not sold out like I said!!
Just kept on trying and it was only ever letting me have 1 ticket. Then suddenly putting 2 in and it started allocating some. Just finished checking out about 2 minutes ago0 -
Anyone with tickets.
Shall we try and figure out from the order numbers how close well be too the stage ? :j
Mines:
2 digit number - 5 digit number / UK4
I'm taking a wild guess that the 5 digit number is the code for the actual concert and the 2 digit number means I was in the first 100 people to get tickets.
I hit the link bang on 9 am and had completed the purchase within about 2 mins.
Unsubstantiated blind optimism probably.....
But if anyone else with tickets has say a (3 digit - 5 digit /UK4) , (4 digit - 5 digit /UK4), (5 digit - 5 digit /UK4) etc.... perhaps not.0 -
It always lets you have one ticket but never 2 or more0

The phone line was the best way to get tickets. I got through within seconds and had my tickets by 9.050

i think ebay may be removing some listings, the one ending in 22hrs came up with a removed page. fair play on standard concert tickets, but charity, come on.0
