Fantastic schoolwear offer

Agreed! My soon to be 16 yo dd has worn Asda uniform her whole school life and it's always been great, especially the school blouses with the capped sleeves. They wash beautifully and at only £3 each, I can afford 5 per term which cuts down on washing. Also, Asda school uniform has the 100 day guarantee, so if it does let you down within that time frame, you can get a free replacement. If this £9 deal is workig, it's an absolute steal. Must tell my sis in law, my niece starts school in August. Thanks OP.
I agree. When people make fleeting comments like George uniforms are rubbish without backing it up it's hard to take them seriously.
I will have to pop into Asda at some point and get uniforms for September, I like to be advanced with it all. DD16 is going into 6th form so needs a little less than before, no blazer and no tie if she chooses not to wear them, which suits me just fine!0 -

Next uniforms are rubbish, they shrink and fade really quickly, I quite like asda, and sainsburys are good too.

To be fair I have always kitted my daughter in next clothing, but am deeply gutted with the way their clothing is going. Often I am replacing her school pinafores within weeks because they are fading, loose cottons etc. So before I would of agreed with the above comment, but now I'm not so sure.If it ain't reduced, i don't buy it! :j0

What are George sizes like? My 9 year old is quite chunky and the largest size is 9/10.0

I have been consistently disappointed with M&S over the last year. This was always my go-to place for good quality knowing that I would always pay a little more. Now they charge a little less but the quality is rock bottom. The trousers last no time at all - the knees go really quickly. The polo shirts are fine but no better than the cheaper options available. If you want them to last 2 years just buy a bigger size in Tesco or Asda.0

I've bought my 4.5 year old a pinafore from Asda, which I had to buy in 7-8 to have any space for growth at all. I also bought her trousers, and the 4-5 are pretty big on her, (hoping she'll have grown into them by September as she can't wear them as they are) even though she's quite tall with long legs. So in my limited experience, they *seem* to be quite slim fitting but long?
M+S sizes are even more confusing - my only just 3yr old wears an age 6 shirt from there, and the 4.5yr old needs an age 8 dress :mad:0
