IE9 problem?

Have just upgraded from IE8 to IE9.
When entering competitions on MSE website, when using IE8 the bottom right 'Enter' button changed to 'unenter' and a tick showed when leaving the thread. This shows as a list of ticks when looking down the page and it's easy to see which competitions you've entered.
Using IE9 if I click the 'enter' button it still changes to 'unenter', but doesn't show as ticked when leaving the thread.
Difficult to explain, however I wondered if this could be a java issue or something different between the two browsers.
Otherwise IE9 is fine, just this little problem that I've found so far.
Thanks for any help.

There is this version of flash player for IE9
Windows Internet Explorer (and other browsers that support Internet Explorer ActiveX controls and plug-ins) 10.3.181.16
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
Direct download link, though you may prefer to get it from Adobe yourself

Thanks for help.
Downloaded latest flash version, but doesn't seem to make a difference.
Any other ideas please?0 -
markdavey - you can do better than that!
I'm used to Explorer in all its forms, don't want another browser, just want IE9 to show the 'enter' button.

I find IE9 to be very picky about how websites are coded. Certainly I've noticed a few that do not work as expected or take longer to load than previously. For those particular sites I just open up Chrome and it is fine.
It IS starting to irritate me, so I hope that Microsoft release a fix soon.
If it works in Chrome and not in IE then I don't think you can 'fix it' I'm afraid ...0 -
If a site does not work properly in IE9 then you can use the compatability view for that site. It's on the TOOLS menu. It's fixed a couple of minor problems with sites I've had.0

Thanks giraffe69
I don't see Compatability view under Tools but will try and find and see whether the setting works.
Much appreciated.0
