Hope you hear about the job soon Pippi, and that it's good news.
Got a message from a friend today, saying she and partner are thinking of heading to Orkney to see Aurora in Feb next year...think she is a bit keen!! Saying that there may not be any aurorae to see...did you catch the one a few days ago on the 24th/25th I think? Spectacular over the US and Canada
I did warn her that the boats may not go and weather may be rubbish, but have suggested a few places to see/stay. Think they may be driving up from South-Wales, so they may not even get to Caithness if the weather is particilarly bad! Mind you, the past couple of years the Feb weather was all over the place, so you never know!
Right, off to do more sewing...asthma improving by the day now :j
Take care and hope this afternoon's job is a good one.
Have a great day everyone xx

glad you are feeling better keiss
Pippi at least your rent is covered and you have food in although sorry to hear you are skint. maybe sit down and get all those invoices/timesheets etc in so that next month isn't so tight. hope eb4y is okay for you. i seem to go through phases on there. i've set myself a goal of selling 20 items on there next month. i know it's not many but baby should be here by then and that's selling 20 not listing 20! maybe quite a hard target but if I don't try I'll never know.
can't believe you haven't heard about that job yet. maybe giving them a ring is a good idea. at the very least it'll show you are keenGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Morning All
Pippi, I'm sitting n the sunshine having a cuppa and looking out of the window tooBet my view's not half as stunning as yours :rotfl: :rotfl: I can see the weeds in the garden, my lilac tree slowly losing its leaves, the bird table (on which there are no birds - although my mother did wake me up at 8.20 this morning to tell me she had a woodpecker on her bird table!!). Can also see the houses over the street, and a large white delivery van :rotfl: :rotfl: And a nice blue sky :j :j :j
Sorry you're feeling bleurghxxxx

I've formally been offered that job
I am now, or will be in the near future, a professional WOMBLE for half the week.
*does a little womble dance*
I do hope I get a suit. Contract being drawn up, fully take over on 1st Dec - but I think I may start mid-Nov to shadow the womble which is leaving on maternity.
