Transfer of title deeds in Scotland

Hi
Hoping someone can help me. My husband & I split 2 & a half years ago & only now has my husband agreed to get house & divorce etc.. sorted.
He has agreed to let me buy him out privately (touching no equity from the house) & we have agreed on the sum of money, which I have saved.
He has agreed that I can get him removed from the title deeds just now (when he gets his buy-out from me this summer) so it just shows in my name.
He has also agreed to keep his name on the mortgage we have in joint names for a maximum of 2 years.
Therefore, my questions are:
1) As he is keeping his name on the mortgage for the short term, do I still have to get a transfer of title deeds done through a solicitor to send to the mortgage company? Or can I just do this myself?
2) To keep costs down we intend to get the scottish divorce simplification - but does the above complicate that & make it impossible? Or will a consent order be enough? Do I get the consent order before or after the divorce? How much do they cost?
I'd like to do as much of this on a DIY basis as I can to try keep the costs down.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

1)remove him from deeds, Then contact mortgage company say he has left and you will be paying mortgage(he will have to sign some paperwork). Sometimes they will drag heels on removing name for mortgage as it cuts down there options for defaults/reposition. However if this happens be firm. As long as you meet afford ability it will be OK.
2) Dono cant remember lol0
