Does anyone have experience of using the services provided by Landlordzone.co.uk?
I have just found out about them & have printed off some application forms for prospective tenants to fill in.
What I was wondering about were their paying services, credit checking, tenancy agreements etc. I would be most grateful for any feedback or alternative sources, as I am about to do the checks on prospective tenants.
Thanks.

The credit checking/referencing is provided by a company called tenant verify. I have used them before and they are fine.
An alternative is letsure..They are all fairly similar..always charge the potential tenant for this service.

Try
Oak Insurance Services
They do tenant refs on behalf of MARAS
I used to use Letsure but wasn't happy with the fees/service....have used MARAS for 5 years and they have picked up a dodgy tenant for me.

MARAS (through Oak) charge £35.25 per tenant applicant and can supply insurance and rent guarantees aswell
You can do it all remotely by faxing the final forms to Oak and downloading applications from the web. You can also track the status of the application online.
Very speedy, efficient and effective. The only thing to do with good advice is to pass it on. It is never of any use to oneself. (Oscar Wilde);)0
