Problem with thomas cook! Help!

Hi all, This is a bit complicated but when worked out i am sure Thomas cook are wrong.

Myself and two friends are due to fly to ibiza later this month. I have noticed that our flights are unusual with regards to the times meaning that we are 22 hours short of the 7 nights we have paid for.

Basically our flight ZB502 leaves Manchester at 2150 on the monday but we arrive back into Manchester on flight ZB509 at 0215 the following monday. This means we arrive in Ibiza airport at 0125 on tuesday morning, but leave Ibiza at 0040 on the monday morning.

I believe that we should actually be booked on flight ZB503 leaving Ibiza at 0215 on the Tuesday? Am I correct?

I have spoke to the travel agents and she basically said thats how it works, we are just unlucky, however having checked previous holidays, ive never had this before.

Were you not (made) aware of the flight times and dates before paying?

Not that i am aware of, we just basically said we want 7 nights in ibiza and they did the rest. Its only now that we have checked the times, that we noticed. Just checked it on the website and it automatically brings up the flight at 0215 the next night.

    No, I think it's correct.

One Nights accomodation is usually from 2pm until 8am the following day, any booking that uses part of a night still counts as a whole night.

Assuming you will be able to get into your room as soon as you arrive your first 'night' will be Monday even though you will not arrive until the early hours of Tuesday, and you should also be able to keep your room until you leave so that also counts as a 'night' because you're not checking out Sunday morning (do double check that you room will be available as soon as you arrive and up until departure though).

    So:
    Mon 1st night
    Tue 2nd night
    Wed 3rd night
    Thur 4th night
    Fri 5th night
    Sat 6th night
    Sun 7th night
Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear

I reckon you will be out your accom 12 noon Sunday and they have in fact booked you 7 days/6 nights. You will need to check, although they probably explained the flight times prior to booking, unless they have changed significantly.

I can't believe that your confirmation did not state the flight times on it ...

    Thanks,

Its not so much the accomodation that we are annoyed about, but the fact that we from the week, we will only actually be there from 0125 on tuesday until 0040 on monday, which means nearly 24 hours is missing from a full week.

If we are booked onto the following flight on early tuesday which corresponds with our incoming flight, we would have the extra 24 hours in the resort, at no extra cost.

We have definately paid for 7 nights, but again - if we have to check out at 12pm sunday, we are getting one less night which we have paid for.

It may have been on the confirmation, even if it was, it still seems to me like a travel agent mistake?

If it is on the confirmation, then you should have queried it before you paid. You have agreed to what was written down.

I am with the others, I think it is your interpretation that is incorrect.

7 nights would usually refer to 7 nights accommodation. And your accommodation is being held for you for 7 nights.

I think you have only been booked for 6 nights, with a flight in the middle of the last night, you almost certainly will have to be out of your room by 1000 the previous morning. ZB flights are scheduled Monarch flights that usually opeate on a daily basis and it looks to me as though, unless they made it clear to you what was happening, that they have booked you one day too early for the return, for a 7 night holiday you should have been booked on the 0215 on Tuesday morning. You need to go into the agency and query the booking with the member of staff
