It may be worth ringing local Comet stores. On Monday I reserved a silver one over the web - only silver and pink were listed. When I got to the shop they had about 6 behind the till, in pink, silver, and blue. I got my son a blue one. Presumably the blue ones were not available to reserve because they weren't listed on the web site. This was at the Urmston retail park near the Trafford Centre, Manchester.
A few years ago I didn't like using Comet - the staff were always a bit surly and what I wanted was never in stock. The last few times I have been there recently they have been great - really friendly and helpful. I am writing to the White City manager because the staff there were so good about getting us a new Sky+ box for free the other week (our old one had broken and Sky wanted us to pay for the new box and installation)0 -
I'm sure they were £29.97 in woolworths today. There were loads on the shelf, but knowing woolworths that could still mean they're completely out of stock -- who knows?0

Got 2 Micros from Comet in Tannochside yesterday, £29-99 each. Chose 1 blue and 1 silver although they had green and pink also.
I get all my games for existing Gameboy Advance SP from Ebay - currently approx. 8-99 brand new for any up-to-date game. Mostly from Hong Kong but never had any problems.0 -
I purchased a silver gameboy micro from The Big W (Woolworths) last week. I checked the price on their website prior to purchase which was £49. However I was charged £29.99 at the checkout, bargain!!!!!!
I initally thought it was a mistake and checked the shelf price which was £69.00. Confused not!! But not complaining as I have been able to purchase my son several games on ebay with the money saved. :A0 -
Only 29.99 @ Comet In store only + any game for a tenner

Also tried Comet's website and got a similar reply. However, went into local store today (Portsmouth) and although nothing advertised there were several empty boxes on the bottom shelf. I asked salesperson who checked stock and could offer me choice of pink or silver. Chose one of each for kids and asked about any deals for games etc. Nothing showing due to reduced price so picked combined Nemo/Incredibles games (priced £14.99) and Star wars game (£12.99). When these were added to order, Star Wars game was in stock and actually now priced @ £2.99 and if you buy Micro plus a game over £9.99 @ Comet then you qualify for extra discount of £5. So bought 2 x Micro and 3 games for grand total of just shy of £73.00 - bargain. :j0 -
This machine is awesome. Even if you have an SP at £30 it's worth getting one of these to see your fav games in the vibrant and clear colours of the micro!
Enjoy!0
