not strictly a home phone question, but was not sure where to put it, but please move if necessary. i want to get my dd1 a phone card that she can use while travelling to call home, friends etc. i know from experience the ones you can buy abroad can differ a lot in how much time you get for your money. i have seen some posters today in local shops offering various value cards to be used in over 40 countries at a penny a minute and up to 10mb internet. is this good? not at all tech minded but thought you needed a dongle to use internet away from home...sorry going off thread a bit but my basic question is it better t o buy one of these types of card and top it up here all ready to go or would she be better off buying them on her travels?
